Change a route

An issuer can change where a Scrip's yield goes. A change is scheduled first and activated after the reserve's waiting period, so holders always see a route change coming before it applies.

Schedule

1. Sign in with the issuer's wallet and open your Scrip's page. The Your route panel appears beside the mint panel.

2. Choose the new route and fill in what it needs: a treasury wallet, or the community token, price feed and slippage for buybacks.

3. Choose Schedule this route and approve. The Scrip's page now shows the scheduled change and when it can be activated.

Activate

When the waiting period has run, the Activate the new route button becomes available. Choose it and approve.

Activation first values the reserve and settles what the Scrip earned under the old route, which still goes the old way. It goes through once the old route is clear: no yield waiting for harvest and no buyback budget left to spend. The Your route panel shows both while the keeper clears them, and the button opens when they're clear.

The waiting period

The waiting period is set when the reserve is created, between one hour and one year. The Parameters page shows this network's value.
