Getting started
Quickstart
Connect a wallet, mint a Scrip, convert it and redeem it, in a few minutes.
This walks through the app from a fresh wallet to holding, converting and redeeming a Scrip.
Before you start
You need a Solana wallet in your browser, some USDC in it, and a little SOL for network fees. Any wallet that supports the Wallet Standard works; see Wallets and signing in.
Mint, convert, redeem
Open the app and connect. Go to the app and choose Connect wallet. Pick your wallet, approve the connection, then sign the short message it shows. Signing proves the address is yours; it moves no funds.
Choose a Scrip. Open Scrips and pick one. Its page shows its supply, its route and the yield it has routed.
Mint. On the Scrip's page, choose Mint, enter an amount and confirm in your wallet. You pay that much USDC and receive the same number of dollars in the Scrip.
Convert. Choose Convert, pick the Scrip you want and enter an amount. Your first Scrip is burned and the second is minted at par.
Redeem. Choose Redeem and enter an amount. The Scrip is burned and USDC arrives in your wallet.
Each operation shows its progress under the button: prepared, waiting for your approval, sent, then finalized on Solana. The Overview lists your holdings and your recent transactions through Scrip.
Issue your own
To name a dollar for your community, follow Issue a Scrip. It takes a name, a ticker, a hosted metadata file with your logo, a route, and one signature.
